Steve Coleman à Montréal

Je suis un fan fini de Steve Coleman. Je l'ai vu trois fois, deux fois à Montréal et une fois à Paris. Et je ne m'en lasse pas.

Récemment, Steve Coleman s'est inscrit sur Twitter et je l'ai tout de suite suivi.

Steve Coleman is a contemporary jazz saxophonist and founder of the M-base collective.

With his group Five Elements, he recorded many cult albums such as:
- The Tao of Mad Phat
- Resistance Is Futile
- On the Rising of the 64 Paths.

Steve Coleman was invited twice by the Montreal Jazz Festival and I had the chance to see him in the small venue called the Gesu more than 10 years ago.

Unfortunately since, Steve Coleman has mainly played in Paris and New York.

Therefore, I ask to all jazz fans in the region of Montreal, Canada (and all over the world) to join me in signing this petition so that the Montreal Jazz Festival invites Steve Coleman to this year's festival.

Will you come have a ball on syncopated rhythms and devilish melodies with the great Steve Coleman?

Avec son groupe Five Elements, il a enregistré plusieurs disques cultes dont:
- The Tao of Mad Phat
- Resistance Is Futile
- On the Rising of the 64 Paths

Steve Coleman a été invité deux fois au Festival International de Jazz de Montréal et j'ai eu la chance de le voir dans la petite salle du Gesu, il y a de cela plus de 10 ans.

Malheureusement, depuis, Steve Coleman joue le plus souvent à Paris et à New York.

Je demande donc à tous les fans de jazz de la région de Montréal (et d'ailleurs) de se joindre à moi afin de transmettre cette pétition au FIJM et qu'il invite Steve Coleman cette année.
